For over 25 years, Theresa has been writing mortgages and home loans and remodel loans. With deep experience in many types of Home Loans, she de-mystifies the loan process and educates and advises clients on home loan options and budget considerations. Theresa is also a member of the Circle of Excellence at Movement Mortgage.  Members are recognized for their ongoing excellence of service and performance as a top producing mortgage originator.

Theresa is a recipient of the Home Builders Association’s CADRE Award (see below) and is a licensed lender in Oregon, Washington and California.  She also has specialized as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). Theresa has served on the Oregon Association of Mortgage Professionals Ethics Committee and been featured on Real Estate Television. She has also been awarded her Certified Graduate Associate (CGA) designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Theresa also served on the Board of Directors for the HBA.

As a CGA Theresa has completed 48 hours of classroom instruction through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This education is focused on ensuring that she has a similar level of knowledge that builders and remodelers must have to be accredited by the NAHB in the areas of estimating, customer service, land use and planning, project management and much more.

A native of Seattle, Theresa and her husband moved to Portland in the late 1980s and fell in love with the city. Though they have lived in other cities, they’ve always considered the greater Portland area their home. When not working for clients, Theresa enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren reading, watching copious amounts of football and cooking.

CADRE Award

Theresa was honored with the 2009 Council Award for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence (CADRE) for Outstanding Associate Member for “helping to promote remodelers, support professional development and grow leadership at the local council.” Theresa joined the Professional Remodelers at the Homebuilders Association of Metro Portland in 2004 and became a vital leader while representing the lending industry.

The National Association of Home Builders/ Remodelers highest national awards are presented each year to Professional Remodelers and individuals whose work at the local council level exemplifies the best practices of the remodeling industry. The CADRE Awards celebrate achievements and raise the bar for local excellence.

A native of Montana, Brenda has lived in Washington for more than 30 years, where she and her husband raised their children. She’s a mother of 3 amazing children, and a Grammy of 2 beautiful little boys. She’s been married to her high school sweetheart for over 30 years., and loves spending time camping with family and friends.

Brenda has worked in the mortgage industry for over 20 years, working with file setup and processing.
