According to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency and the Office of Thrift Supervision, the percentage of seriously delinquent mortgages fell in all four quarters of 2010. The OCC and OTS Mortgage Metrics Report for the fourth quarter of 2010 found seriously delinquent mortgages at their lowest level since the second quarter of 2009. The report also said completed foreclosures decreased by nearly 50 percent and newly initiated foreclosures were down 8.0 percent. More here and here.
