According to Altos Research’s Real-Time Housing Market Update, home prices are slowly improving and inventory is rising in advance of the spring selling season. Housing inventory, which fell sharply over the holiday season due to low buyer activity, rose 3.75 percent from January, an indicator that sellers are hoping to capitalize on seasonal increases in real-estate activity. And though home prices decreased month-over-month, the report found week-over-week price data is beginning to show signs of improvement.
